Meet a new composer today: Sir Donald Tovey!

The British Donald Tovey (1875-1940) is nowaday well known for his musical analisys and his work in editions of old Music: his completion of the last Countepoint of Bach's Art of the Fugue was very often performed as an "official" ending piece of the collection.

Beyond that, his purely compositional work is a very rare listening today; you'll see how much this is a shame starting from today and for the next four days, discovering some of his chamber works:

• Piano Trio Op.1, in B minor

• Piano Trio Op.27, in D major

• Piano Quartet, in E minor

• Piano Quintet, in C major
